Now is the time to let us know what films you'd like to see at HORROR'Thon 09. Vampires? Werewolves? Zombies? Slashers? Rush Limbaugh?
Leave us a note, we promise to read it after feasting on something warm and bloody.
Two of the most unique and enjoyable movies in this genre:
30 Days Of Night http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389722/plotsummary Microplot: A merry band of vampires figure out that Alaska spends an entire month in the dark; wackiness ensues.
Versus http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275773/plotsummary Microplot: Eternal struggle between Good and Evil. With zombies. And samurai. And vampires. And gangsters. And guys fighting over a hottie. Yes, both zombies and vampires. What could go wrong?
"Program selections will be announced in August." ?????
Almost forgot! We need some Vincent Price movies (The Pit and the Pendulum?), and also- "Killer Klowns from Outer Space."
I'm not interested in slashers. They aren't scary, just gross. Vampires, Werewolves and Zombies are all good. A few suggestions:
The Haunting (1963) The Wolf Man (1941) Night of the Living Dead (1968) Nosferatu (1922)
I'd love to see Basket Case, Re-Animator, Spider Baby, Psycho, Shivers or pretty much anything by Dario Argento form the 70's or 80's.
Boston Sci-Fi Theme by lmh, based on Solar Flare by Ron Williams for Lithic Media
My movie recommendations
